Linda & Don’s table-mates enjoyed a marinated pork tenderloin with sautéed apples. Lynn & George served their guests spaghetti and meatballs with caesar salad. Those at Sallie & Barry’s enjoyed a meal anchored by a chicken breast dish in a lemon garlic marinade over couscous. On Thursday, November 11 the Probus Casual Dining group met at the homes of Sallie & Barry Kedwell, Lynn Scotford & George Czerwinski, and Linda Taschner & Don Walker. It won't be an organized event, but if you login and look at the MEET-UPS page and/or subscribe to it, you will see the details on how to join her! You could also post your own MEET-UP to see the tree lighting in Thornbury ( Thornbury Olde Fashioned Christmas) on December 11 5 PM, or join the singalong and tree lighting at St. Heather will try the new MEET-UPS to do a last minute walk around Owen Sound to see the "Northern Lights". The Ramblers group is pausing for the rest of December and will restart in January. ( You will need to login first). Organized Activity Groups are a great way to regularly connect with others, but sometimes you are just looking for others to join a one-off outing. We don't normally publish a newsletter in December, but we wanted to express our gratitude to all the members who have contributed to the Grapevine this year and supported the Club's efforts to keep our activities going! It's hard to believe another year has passed.
